The admission process is the same as for the conventional courses but with a different language level required.

Holders of end of secondary studies diploma granted by the public schools are eligible to apply for Licence studies
Aptitude Test in French
  • Non-francophone students: Are accepted DU diploma from Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi as well as B2 level diplomas: DELF, TEF, TCF and SELFEE
  • Francophone students:

 

1. Students from francophone countries: The students will be admitted to BA programmes subject to a prior interview or a written exam confirming their oral and written skills. It is recommended for the students to pass DELF B2 exam in their country and attach a copy of your diploma along with the application.

2. Students holding a French Baccalaureate: A test is not required

Required documents for your application:
All candidates must provide an application file in French or in English, (or providing an official translation in either language).

 

1.                   Aptitude Test in French for non-francophone students

2.                   If you are in grade 12: Transcripts of your last 2 high school years is required

3.                   If you are a graduate: A certified copy of your Baccalaureate or your diploma (High School Diploma or equivalent)

4.                   Financial documents: Employer's official document dated less than two months mentioning your monthly salary or your parents’ salary

·         OR

·         Any bank statement indicating your credentials.

5.                   Passport Photocopy

6.                   10 passport size photos

Personal statement in French or English (1 page maximum)

Assessment Evaluation process
The academic year is made up of 2 semesters, each with 13 weeks of teaching. Students’ knowledge will be tested throughout the semester (continuous assessment).
At the end of each semester, a final examination is scheduled. Students must obtain 30 ECTS per semester in order to qualify for a Bachelor's Degree.

Each course is divided into Credits (UE):
 
  • The Core Credits which relate to the concerned major
  • The Mandatory Credits (foreign languages and general knowledge)
The Optional Credits
Each credit is made up of different subjects (known as “Éléments Constitutifs”: EC).
For example, the 1st Unit of the 1st year of the Archaeology and Art History Licence is made up of 2 subjects, or 2 ECs:

EC1: History of Ancient Art

EC2: History of Medieval Art
