The mission of the Student Affairs Services is to provide the students with the right setting necessary for their education and research skills development. The Students Affairs Office is deeply involved in students’ life on campus and outdoors since their arrival in UAE from the orientation day until the graduation ceremony. It also aims at creating an environment that will optimize their university experience and prepare them to serve the community. If you need assistance with a social, personal or university issue we are always ready to assist you and listen to you at the Students Affairs Office.
Counseling
Students seek guidance for various reasons. It could be for issues regarding their academic life, stress, depression or personal relationships. Counsellors can assist you in any decision you need to take, regarding your academic, professional or personal life.

Student Indoor & Outdoor Events - The Student Activities Programme provides multiple opportunities for students' personal growth and development outside the formal academic environment. As “PSUAD Ambassadors” students are strongly encouraged to participate in the university life (open day, recruitment campaign, conferences, student-sponsored events, inter-university student events, governing committees, clubs and organizations and many more recreation activities such as International Day, safari, community campaigns, etc). Student Residence Visa -
Paris Sorbonne University – Abu Dhabi provides all new students and international students with an annual student residence visa. Kindly click here to apply (for new students)
Health Insurance :
Students are automatically covered for accidents on or off campus during events sponsored by the University and any internship organized by the University. It is compulsory for students to have PSUAD health insurance plan. Information about the policy and applications are available at the Student Affairs Offices.

UAE ID Card
All International students included those from the GCC countries should apply for the UAE ID Card as soon as they reach the Abu Dhabi.

Student Employment - Career Guidance – Internship Acquiring effective job search skills is a valuable part of today's educational experience. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Services Office for job search information, advice and support. A wide range of human resource services are provided to students, including assisting students with job selection. PSUAD students have access to various internship and opportunities throughout the seven emirates or outside the UAE. Internship opportunity notices for spring and summer will be distributed to students via the university email address. The Student Affairs Office will also inform you of Student Employment opportunities on-campus and off-campus. For any part-time job you need a Non Objection Letter. For more information please contact the Student Affairs Office. Students are encouraged to contact the Student Affairs Office in order to learn more about the needed documents for a part-time job or internship. French summer courses are organized in France for students to practice the French language. Students are accommodated by French host families allowing them to discover foreign cultures more intimately than in a classroom environment. Student Affairs organises the trip (including classes, visa, insurance, accommodation, etc.)
- Student Council
The purpose of the Student Council is to provide the student body with a common platform that aims at promoting interaction between the students and the University Body. The Student Council works closely with the Student Affairs Office to raise a spirit of community, understanding, and harmony throughout the campus. The Student Council also aims to provide students with unique opportunities to develop life skills and leadership qualities by organizing extra-curricular activities and hosting events for the students.

- The Alumni life
The Students Affairs Office is working hard to keep current records of PSUAD Alumni. Specifics activities and events will be organized for the Alumni to keep them involved in the university strategic plans. Each student will receive an Alumni card during the graduation ceremony for the campus dorms & sport hall access and library services.
