The mission of the Student Affairs Services is to provide opportunities for student engagement, learning and discovery in a diverse environment that will optimize their university experience and prepare them to serve a global community. But our main aim is to offer our students the best conditions for student life and working environment. Counseling - Students seek counseling for many reasons such as academic difficulty, stress, depression and relationship problems. Counselors can assist you to make more satisfying decisions relating to career and academic planning and with regard to personal issues that arise from life situations and events. They can assist you in academic planning, interest clarification, changing programs, career planning, developing self-confidence, sorting out conflicts, increasing self understanding and improving personal relationships.
Your personal development and academic progress are important to us. We want you to reach your goals and experience success. Call for an appointment or drop in any time on a 'first-come, first-served’ basis, depending on our availability.

Students in door & outdoor Events - The Student Activities Program provides multiple opportunities for students' personal growth and development outside the formal academic environment. As “PSUAD ambassadors” students are strongly encouraged to participate in the university life (open day, recruitment campaign, conferences, student-sponsored events, inter-universities student’s events, governing committees, clubs and organizations and many more recreation activities such as International Day, safari,.

Health Insurance : Students are automatically covered for accidents on or off campus during events sponsored by the University. It is compulsory for students to purchase health insurance plan, as this will be required if student residence visa is provided by the university. Information about the policy and applications are available in the Student Affairs Offices.

Student Employment - Career Guidance – Internship
Acquiring effective job search skills is a valuable part of today's educational experience. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Services Office for job search information, advice and support.
Student Affairs inform you on Student Employment opportunities on-campus and off-campus. For any part-time job should obtain a Non Objection Letter. More information are available at students affairs.
A wide range of human resource services are provided to students, including: assisting students with job selection, and posting positions.

PSUAD students have access to various internship and opportunities throughout the seven emirates or outside the UAE. Internship opportunities, credit and noncredit, for fall, spring and summer, will be distributed to students via the university email address.
Students are encouraged to contact the student affairs in order to learn more about the needed documents for a part time job or internship. Your discussions are always treated with respect and confidentiality. |

- Medical Center

Ground Floor (in the Cafeteria)
A clinic equipped for emergency care with medical professional body, as needed.
All visits are strictly confidential. Appointments or walk-in visits are free to PSUAD students. Services provided include, but are not limited to: physical exams, writing prescriptions and referrals.
3 nurses are available 24h/7 days and will be on shift basis. The physician will be available twice a week Monday from 10am to 1pm and Wednesday from 12pm to 3pm. |

- Transportation Services

| - Information Technology Services
You as a student at PSUAD are entitled to a user account; this account is strictly dedicated to you only to access computers on campus. All the assistance you need is available in student’s affairs offices in cooperation with the University IT Department. The University will communicate with students only trough their PSUAD email addresses. Please ask for the IT manual at student’s affairs offices.
- French Learning Trip
French summer courses are organized in France for students to practice and perform the French language. Students are accommodated by French host families thus they will discover the foreign cultures. Student Affairs organizes the trip (including courses, visa, insurance, accommodation etc.)
- Suggestion box
You are invited to share your ideas and suggestions to make the Student life better. Write it and leave it in the suggestion box located just outside the student affairs offices 2-132 and 2-134
