The primary objective of the U.A.E. Math Day is to bring together mathematicians from UAE and surrounding areas to a forum in which they can exchange research ideas in different branches of mathematics and communicate recent developments in mathematical research and education.

The first UAE Math Day was held at the University of Sharjah in May 2003. Since then, this celebration has become a tradition and is held annually at one of the institutions in the UAE. The theme of this meeting is broad and encompasses all areas of mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education.
