Campaign Launched as Part of Corporate Social Responsibility Program

Paris – Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi  organized, a blood drive for students, staff and faculty, at the university’s Reem Island campus, in a bid to promote volunteerism by raising awareness on the importance of blood donation and its role in saving the lives of patients and casualties and meeting the increasing needs of hospitals by donating blood on a regular basis.

Sorbonne Abu Dhabi Student Affairs Services Department noted that the campaign is in keeping with Sorbonne Abu Dhabi’s keenness to participate in various social events aimed at promoting awareness among students on the importance of social engagement which reinforces their sense of community and belonging cherished by Islam and fostered by the UAE leadership. Sorbonne Abu Dhabi strives to instill these noble values in its students and to guide them toward meaningful social engagement by highlighting its importance and the role it plays in building a responsible and connected community.
