The Emirati Women Journey: A Dialogue Between Generations.

This talk is the occasion to give the floor to five Emirati women working in different sectors of activity: arts, heritage and culture,sports; entrepreneurship, higher education and governmental institutions. Each guest speaker will introduce her professional career, share her vision and discuss all together the role of women in the UAE workforce. From the outset of the United Arab Emirates building, women played a key role and their place in the Emirati society continues to evolve. This dialogue between women pioneers and young generation is the occasion to shed light on the importance of Emirati women in the nation-building process and in the Emirati society.

  • Noura Al Mubarak, Programmes Coordinator, Zayed National Museum
  • Tala Al Ramahi, Chief Strategic Officer of the Special Olympics World Games 2019
  • Dr. Fatima Al Sayegh, Historian and Chair of the History Department at UAE University
  • Dr. Aisha Bilkhair, Research Advisor at Abu Dhabi National Archives
  • Noor Shamma, Artrepreneur and Founder of the Postcard Initiative
