By calling upon specialists of the Arab world, this conference aims at studying a wide range of diplomatic, economic and cultural exchanges between the Middle East and Europe in the Early Modern Times (1500-1820). It will show how Arab and European societies were linked and mixed thanks to these contacts for better understanding the roots of globalization between these two areas…

An exhibition in connection with this conference has been scheduled due to the support of the National Archives (NCDR), the Crossroad of Civilizations museum in Dubaï and the NYUAD Library.

Official opening of the exhibition at the PSUAD Library with HE. Ahmed Obaid Al Mansoori, founder of the Crossroads of civilizations museum in Dubai, on Saturday March 4th at 6:30 pm.
