Why are stingrays showing up in Dubai Marina?
There’s been a spike in sightings of stingrays, including cownose rays, in areas like Dubai Marina, with videos circulating of them swimming close to the shoreline. Is this something seasonal? Is it normal to see this kind of marine life in such urban waters? And what does it tell us about the health of the local marine environment? To help us understand what’s going on, Katie speaks with Dr. Olivier Adam, researcher of marine life at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
