Concert – Illusion, Dream, and Impressions

Marie Sontag a French musician of Occitan origin, Marie Sontag has tasted the delights of the keyboard from an early age. Graduated from the Municipal Music School of Les Sables-d’Olonne in 1999 and from the Music Conservatory of La Roche-Sur-Yon in 2006, the piano stands out as her predilection instrument. Marie also experiments with other types of stringed instruments, plays and sings in various folk-jazz musical bands.
From concerts in music schools, from Spain to the Caribbean Islands and from the West of France to Brittany, it is now in Abu Dhabi since 2013 that Marie devotes herself to teaching the piano. She has been teaching for 6 years at the Residence of the French Embassy and now at the Alliance Française of Abu Dhabi.
In parallel and during occasional events, she performs within the group Art’Trotteurs (vocals, piano, bass, guitar), through various and varied influences, and also with a four hands duet through a classical and romantic repertoire that she particularly affectionate.

Dr.Claude Vishnu Spaak is the Head of the Philosophy and Sociology Department at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. With a PhD degree in Philosophy and the French Agrégztion in philosophy, he is specialized in phenomenology. He has published two books, directed numerous collective works, written numerous scientific articles and book chapters, but he is also a proficient musician. He plays the piano since his young age, with a focus on the repertoire of classical music.
