Join us for the soft launch of the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence.

• Signature of the Chairs of Excellence of the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence – Abu Dhabi with Thales and Total
•  Artificial Intelligence: Promise, Challenges, and International Perspective.
  A presentation by Dr. Jim Kurose, Former Assistant Director for Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the US National Science Foundation, Former Assistant Director for Artificial Intelligence at the White House Office of Science Technology Policy and Visiting Professor and Advisor at SCAI

  The presentation will note the future prospects of artificial intelligence in various fields including health, education and science discoveries and discuss trustworthy AI systems, their working mechanisms and the challenges associated with them. He will also discuss international AI activities, highlighting SCAI’s significant contributions towards the excellence of interdisciplinary research, education, and various other aspects concerning artificial intelligence.
