Synopsis

Algeria today. Past and present collide in the lives of a newly wealthy property developer, a young woman torn between the path of reason and sentiment and an ambitious neurologist impeded by wartime wrongdoings. Three stories that plunge us into the human soul of a contemporary Arab society.

Founding Member of Chrysalide, the Cultural Association for Cinema Promotion in Algiers, he writes his first medium-length movie « the days of the past »with Virginie Legeay, which he met at the writing workshop Méditalents. This movie was awarded in several international movies festival and nominated for the « Césars 2015 » in the short movies category. Karim Moussaoui is in charge of the cinema programming at the French Institute of Alger. Until the Birds return is his first feature film.
