Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi launches the sixth Edition of its Astrolabe Career Forum

Under the theme “Explore, connect and shape your professional future” and to foster creative and innovative thinking among its students, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi launched today its sixth edition of its Astrolabe Career Forum. The two days event that ends tomorrow features interactive presentations, networking events, employer’s panels and workshops designed to help students and graduates make useful connections and engage with industry leaders.

Astrolabe Career Forum brings together 48 companies from public and private sectors across the UAE and a series of 15 presentations, networking events, employer panels, round table sessions and workshops with the participation of leading experts, specialists, ambassadors and international legal consultants from different disciplines. During these presentations, students and graduates discover effective strategies to gradually plan their career exploration, develop their job’ search skills and make choices.

The opening ceremony started with a welcome speech delivered by Prof. Eric Fouache, Executive Director at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Mr. Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO and Chief Corporate & Human Capital Officer at Mubadala, delivered the keynote speech. As part of this event, awards ceremony took place to recognize the academic accomplishments of undergraduate students in all majors throughout the university.
