An immersive experience to discover the evolution of traditional Emirati outfits from the second half of the 20th century. This multidisciplinary exhibition, organized in collaboration with the National Library and Archives, will combine history, archaeology, literature and technology.

The exhibition “The Evolution of Traditional Women’s Clothing and Gold Ornaments in the United Arab Emirates” will take place in early December 2024. It will showcase the evolution of traditional Emirati attire from the second half of the 20th century through five themes: a chronological presentation, archaeological discoveries, documentary archives, poetic reflections, and interactive experiences. This multidisciplinary exhibition, organized in collaboration with the National Library and Archives, will combine history, archaeology, literature, and technology to offer an immersive experience of UAE’s clothing culture.
