The libraries of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and Al Ain University have formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at deepening institutional collaboration and enhancing the sharing of knowledge, expertise, and library resources.
Through this agreement, both libraries will work together to:
- Enable reciprocal visits for library users, providing on-site access to selected resources and services
- Support the exchange of print and digital materials to enrich collections and strengthen academic support
- Foster academic engagement through the exchange of scholars, including guest lectures, talks, and related scholarly activities
This collaboration underscores a shared vision to support research excellence, scholarly exchange, and improved access to information. The partnership is expected to open new avenues of engagement for faculty, students, and researchers across both institutions, leveraging the complementary strengths of each library.
