Experts warn: late registration limits the options available
Ahmed Eltayeb, Head of Student Recruitment at the Communication, Marketing and Public Affairs Department, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, was featured in Al Bayan newspaper, sharing insight on the common mistakes that can disrupt a student's path to university.
He warns that leaving applications until the last minute often leads to avoidable errors — missing transcripts, uncertified certificates, incomplete language test results — that can delay even the strongest applications, and cautions against choosing a programme on reputation alone without checking it against one's own abilities and goals.
