Scholarships & Preferential Rates

Scholarships based on academic excellence or individual circumstances are offered by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Preferential tuition rates are available across all programmes.

Newly admitted students may apply for scholarships at the time of their registration. All relevant information regarding eligibility criteria, application procedures and deadlines is provided below.

For continuing students, the application deadline is communicated each semester via the official University email. Applications must be submitted through the online application form. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Scholarship Application Process

All scholarship applications are reviewed by the University Scholarship Committee. To be considered, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined on this page. Please note that fulfilling these criteria does not guarantee an award, as the Committee also evaluates additional qualitative factors beyond academic performance.

To ensure a smooth and fair review process, the following guidelines apply:

Students are encouraged to submit a complete application by each published scholarship deadline. Applications must be submitted no later than midnight, seven (7) days prior to the Scholarship Committee meeting in order for the file to be considered.

Only complete applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

Given the limited number of scholarships available, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application as early as possible—preferably during the first round—in order to be considered under the most favourable conditions.

Once a scholarship is awarded, students have a twenty (20) day period to complete the tuition payment, either by paying the full amount or by paying the first-semester fees and confirming an instalment plan for the second semester. Should payment not be received within this timeframe, the scholarship offer may be withdrawn, and students may reapply in a subsequent round.

Please note that tuition fees remain refundable in accordance with the University’s refund policy.
