Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has its very own on-campus accommodation, located at the heart of the campus and designed to inspire, connect, and engage. Our residences offer more than just a place to stay—they are vibrant communities where friendships are formed, ideas are shared, and personal growth is fostered.
Living on the SUAD campus serves a dual purpose:

- To make student life seamless, enjoyable, and enriching, within an inclusive and welcoming environment that offers the perfect balance between study, relaxation, and social life—allowing students to live, learn, and grow.
Residents enjoy access to campus sports facilities from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM, as well as a rich calendar of activities and programs throughout the academic year that enhance student life and create lasting memories. Whether it’s sharing iftar during Ramadan, celebrating key cultural and academic events, participating in student-led workshops and clubs, or finding quiet moments for reflection during exam periods, students living in SUAD residences benefit from a holistic and supportive community that nurtures both personal and academic development.

Rooms
Designed to foster community and connection, the fully furnished, air-conditioned residences can accommodate up to 500 students, with 250 places allocated for male students and 250 for female students. The residences feature individual rooms distributed across several floors, with approximately 50 rooms per floor. They are conveniently located just a few steps away from classrooms and study areas, making it easy for students to balance academic life and campus living.
Each room includes a private bathroom, bed (with linen), desk and chair, wardrobe, refrigerator, telephone, and two towels. The dormitory is divided into separate sections for men and women, in accordance with the traditions and laws of the United Arab Emirates, providing gender-separated student housing in the UAE. At SUAD, great care is taken to ensure the comfort of dormitory residents—your room will be cleaned weekly. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Common Spaces
Common spaces are available on every floor and are shared by residents living on the same level. These areas are open 24 hours a day and include a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove and oven, microwave, water cooler, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, and kettle. The living room is furnished with dining tables and a television, while the study room offers computers with internet access. Common areas are cleaned daily to ensure students always feel comfortable. Each resident also has access to on-site parking.
