Bio
Antoine Kouchner obtained his PhD from Paris Diderot University in 2001. After completing
postdoctoral research at the Fermi Laboratory in Chicago, he joined the Astroparticle and Cosmology
Laboratory (UMR UPCité, CNRS, CEA, Paris Observatory, CNES), of which he was director from 2018 to 2023.
He is the spokesperson (Principal Investigator) for the international ANTARES collaboration, which
analyses data from the first neutrino telescope in the Mediterranean Sea, Chairperson of the Institute Board
of KM3NeT, the successor of ANTARES, and Vice-Chair of the
General Assembly of the European Consortium for Astroparticle Physics (APPeC).
