Dr. Julia Motte-Baumvol is an Associate Professor of Law at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the Chairholder of the Bridging Horizons Chair. She is a recognized expert in international trade law and sustainable development, with a strong specialization in EU external relations. She has made significant academic contributions, serves on the Editorial Board of several international journals, and has coordinated major international research projects. Beyond academia, she has provided counsel in governmental and diplomatic negotiations at the international level, underscoring her active engagement at the intersection of law, policy, and sustainability.
