Bio

Dr. Lama Tarsissi is an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and a member of the project Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI). She is an Associate Researcher in Computer Sciences at the University of Gustave Eiffel Paris-France. I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc in France. In 2017, she became the ambassador of the Committee of Women in Mathematics (CWM) for Lebanon. Since my arrival to UAE, She also become the ambassador for UAE to this committee. Starting January 2024, she is a member of the Middle East Research Commission at the Francophonie University Agency- AUF. Her research interests include discrete geometry, combinatorics on words, dynamic systems, discrete convexity, polyominoes, discrete lines, algorithms, AI applications and hypergraphs.
