Bio
With twenty-seven years of experience teaching Arabic within the French secondary and higher education systems, Dr. Sana Abbas joined Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi in 2013. Holding a Ph.D. in discourse analysis and a Master's in linguistics, she also holds the Agrégation—France’s most prestigious competitive teaching examination—for which she secured fourth place at the national level. Her research interests center on argumentation, translation, and didactics. Furthermore, she is an active contributor to the international academic community, having participated in the organization of conferences and authored scholarly works and translations.
