Abstract

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with AD’Art Collective and Féminin Pluriel, presents the exhibition Lumières de Femmes.

For the first time, the Francophone artistic collectives Féminin Pluriel and AD’Art, along with their invited guests, unite for this collective exhibition in honor of International Women’s Rights Day.
Painters, photographers, illustrators, and ceramicists from diverse cultural backgrounds and practices pay tribute to the inner strength, resilience, and creativity of women.
“Lumières de Femmes” celebrates intercultural and universal sisterhood.
Held in the prestigious and iconic setting of  Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, this exhibition brings together 23 French and Francophone artists residing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and highlights the renowned Emirati artist Khulood Al Jabri.
