Synopsis
After giving up a career in museum management to attend to his ailing father, Ahmed spends his days managing the family’s dying perfume business. This sacrifice and his divorce have made him quite cynical of human nature and this manifests itself in his relationship with his 12 year old aloof boy, Abdulrahman. They don’t see eye to eye. It’s like they speak different languages. Ahmed’s ex-wife suddenly files to negate his visitation rights on the grounds that she doesn’t want her son to be exposed to a dying grandfather…

Humaid was born and raised in Abu Dhabi. His first feature film, ‘Abdullah’, premiered at DIFF in 2015. He considers ‘Musk’ to be his most personal film
