This workshop is designed as preparation for an international conference on tolerance to be organized at SUAD in 2020 by the Philosophy and Sociology Department, with the partnership of the Abu Dhabi Department for Education and Knowledge (ADEK). This workshop seeks to gather students from all fields of study who are interested in the concept of tolerance and who want to discuss the philosophical problems and challenges it poses, in such key domains as ethics, political philosophy, the social sciences and metaphysics. A panel of researchers in contemporary philosophy from Sorbonne University will be present to orient discussions.
