Abstract
Much has been said and written about the threat to jobs posed by artificial intelligence. Studies have warned that certain jobs will disappear, even in the near future. So what is the reality? In January 2025, a day of debate, documentary screenings and a book exhibition will be devoted to artificial intelligence and its impact on society.
About the Speakers

Prof Mohamed Adel Yazid holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language and French Linguistics. He is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a Professor of Technology at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD).With an experience of 26 years in teaching computer science in Tunisia and UAE, he actively pursues his passion for technology by delivering dedicated technical and pedagogical trainings for teachers and students on records management, coding and programming, artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. In addition, as an accredited professor for DELF, DALF, TEF and TCF international French diplomas he is collaborating with the French Institute and Alliance Francaise Abu Dhabi in delivering French classes and organizing exam sessions.

Fedia Khalfallah Cheniour is an Assistant Professor in Computing Management with experience of over 30 years in teaching, research, and supervision. She holds a PhD in Computing Management from the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis (Tunisia), with expertise in Bayesian networks, probabilistic reasoning, and decision-support systems. Currently affiliated with Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) as IT teacher, her expertise includes artificial intelligence, algorithmic design, and decision-support systems. She has authored numerous publications and supervised postgraduate research in computing management.
