Know more about the artists

José Galán
Choreographer, dancer and researcher. Born in Seville, Spain. Degree on Pedagogical Dance and Pedagogy and PhD on Flamenco by the University of Seville.
Having worked in outstanding flamenco dance companies such as Salvador Távora, Sara Baras and Antonio Canales, since 2010 José Galán runs his own company of “inclusive flamenco”.
Since then, the company has developed more than 10 shows of dance with different abilities.

Company José Galán received in 2012 the “Andalusian Award for Good Practices”, in 2016 the “Solidary ONCE award” and benefited in 2015 from the “International Visitor Leadership Program on Advancing Inclusion of the Arts” by the US Department of State.
Lola López

Dancer. Born in Barcelona, she got poliomyelitis when she was 6 month affecting her legs mobility.
Lola danced contemporary dance in her wheelchair in Barcelona. In February 2017, José and Lola met in an inclusive flamenco workshop that Lola attended in Jerez de la Frontera. Since then they have not separated. Lola moved to Seville and started to work at the company.
