You’re invited to join us for the Night of Law, organized by SUAD and the French Embassy in the UAE! Celebrate the world of law through two exciting events: a lively debate and the screening of the movie Anatomy of a fall.
Debate

Under the theme of Criminal Law & Family issues, a debate will take place between UAE & French experts to discuss the challenges that Criminal Law can pose when dealing with the privacy of the Family sphere and what legal tools are put in place to overcome them.
Movie – Anatomy of a Fall
Time: 7 pm
Venue: Zayed Theatre , SUAD Campus
At 7:00 pm, we invite you to join us for the screening of the award-winning movie Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet. Internationally acclaimed movie, Palme d’Or at Cannes Festival in 2023, recipient of 6 César, 2 Golden Globes and 1 Oscar, the movie tackles familial dramas and the role of criminal and family law.
Synopsis:
When her husband Samuel is mysteriously found dead in the snow below their secluded chalet, Sandra becomes the main suspect when the police begin to question whether he fell or was pushed. The trial soon becomes not just an investigation, but a gripping psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel’s complicated marriage.
