Abstract

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the National Library and Archives (NLA) of UAE is excited to announce its hosting of the Sixteenth Archival Education and Research Institute 2024 (AERI) from October 07 to 11, 2024, at the SUAD campus and NLA sites in Abu Dhabi, UAE. AERI aims to elevate archival studies by establishing a vibrant community of researchers, educators, students, and professionals. It focuses on guiding doctoral students and academic staff in thesis writing, grant proposals, publishing, and career growth. Moreover, it prioritizes curriculum advancement in archival studies across various educational levels and promotes ongoing research through presentations, workshops, and collaborative activities, both within and beyond national borders. AERI serves as a platform for showcasing ongoing research and education in archival studies. Presentations of work in progress, as well as workshops on methodology and teaching, particularly those aimed at doctoral students and early-career academics, are highly encouraged. AERI aims to elevate archival studies by establishing a vibrant community of researchers, educators, students, and professionals. It focuses on guiding doctoral students and academic staff in thesis writing, grant proposals, publishing, and career growth.
