Symposium – Family Law: a comparative approach
The Symposium has been cancelled
Abstract
The “Family Law: A Comparative Approach” symposium presents a unique opportunity to delve into the convergence of legal systems. Our esteemed panelists will commence by analyzing recent advancements in the integration of foreign, particularly Arab/Islamic, family law into German jurisprudence. Within the UAE domain, there is significant focus on family laws and family courts, particularly as emerging laws and courts have become a focal point of the legislature. A comparison between the Non-Muslims to the Muslims law will be undertaken. Furthermore, the symposium will highlight the paramount issue of children’s welfare amidst parental separation. Through a comparative lens, we will scrutinize the approaches adopted by French Law and UAE Law in addressing the needs of children navigating familial transitions.
This symposium promises to offer invaluable insights into the latest developments in Family Law.
