Orientation Events for 2022-2023 Students
2 September, 2022Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi held two orientation events to welcome new students, one for the undergraduate students and the other for the postgraduate students.
The Orientation event was dedicated to ensuring a smooth and successful transition into the university life by introducing new students to the various facilities and services provided by the university. During the Orientation event, students got familiarized with the academic programmes and the university life and had the chance to meet with members from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi staff and faculty.
The Orientation event included various workshops and activities such as a tour to the top attractions of Abu Dhabi, various games, Q&A sessions, and an introductory tour to the university’s facilities including the library, residences, sports hall, classrooms, and labs.
The Orientation events started with a welcoming note from the Vice Chancellor Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Professor Silvia Serrano, in which she addressed several topics including the university’s keenness in offering world-class education that follows international standards.
The activities of the orientation event ended successfully, welcoming a record number of new students who became part of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi’s community and who will also develop their knowledge, skills and stand out in an increasingly competitive job market as well as benefit from the university’s extensive industry links.
