Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi held two Virtual Open Days 2022 for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programmes
23 February, 2022Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi held two virtual Open Days, one on 22 February for undergraduate programmes and the other is on 23 February for postgraduate pro-grammes from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and was attended by more than 700 guests.
Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi serves as a beacon of knowledge by bringing top French education to the heart of the Middle East. It brings the expertise of more than 760 years of academic excellence of Sorbonne University in Paris to the region. The university offers a wide range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, taught in either English or French, in humanities, Sciences, Languages, Social Scienc-es and Law.
During Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi’s Open Days, students got a glimpse of uni-versity life, learnt more about the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, explored scholarships opportunities, fees, career services, student activities, met world-class academics and received one-on-one admission guidance.
They learnt more about the university’s degrees that are awarded by France and accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation in the UAE and recog-nized globally. The university follows the European Credit Transfer and Accumula-tion System (ECTS), allowing students to easily transfer and complete their studies in Europe.
Those who submitted undergraduate applications by 22 February availed a fee weaver of AED 2,900 while those who submitted their postgraduate applications by 23 February availed a fee weaver of AED 3,000.
On the other hand, Open Day guests got the opportunity to explore the 93,000 square meters state-of-the-art campus and facilities, as well as the onsite segregat-ed male and female student residences through a virtual tour. They also learnt about the career opportunities and professional exposure that they can benefit from through their informative sessions with the Career Centre.
